Growing up, my family wasn’t exactly filled with baking experts. In fact, my parents hated to cook! It was a chore for them. They had a rotation of about 4 types of meals — that’s it.

And dessert? Forget about it! That was not a priority at all. Desserts were usually either Little Debbie or someone else baked them.

When I started taking over in the kitchen in high school, I had to figure everything out on my own.

Let me tell you, there was a LOT of trial and error.

But, over the past 12 years, I’ve learned a great deal about the science behind baking.

I’ve mastered the techniques and learned which pieces of equipment are a must and the ingredients and brands you can trust.

I’ve also figured out all the things you don’t really think about, like how various factors (such as temperature, order of ingredients, altitude, humidity, etc) impact the way the things you bake turn out.

Now, I teach baking enthusiasts all over the world how to take their baking skills from good to great and feel joyful while doing so. And I decided to create a membership community dedicated to this. Let’s bake together!

YES! All live classes will be recorded and uploaded for replay to the video library of the members portal. You’ll be able to rewatch them at any time as long as you’re a member!

As a member, you will receive free access to all Zoom classes, including our previously recorded classes going back to 2020!

We alternate between days and times each month and poll our members in the Exclusive Members Facebook Group on what works best for them in an effort to make the classes as accessible as possible.

We offer two payment plans — an annual and a monthly plan. The annual plan is best for people who can give a confident “YES!” to joining us. However, if you’re unsure if it is a good fit for you, we encourage you to sign up under the monthly plan. Monthly memberships can be cancelled at any time by logging into the membership portal and going to your account settings. Simply cancel before your renewal date. You will no longer be charged, but will retain access to the community until that date.

Yes! The process is super simple too. Details can be found inside the Members Area once you’re a member.

You’ll get to learn from someone who has a culinary degree — without paying a culinary degree tuition! You can join the Handle the Heat Community for only $20 per month or $200 annually. 

Tessa and Team HTH will be hanging out in the community answering questions in greater detail than in the free Facebook group. You will also be able to join in on live calls, such as Q+A sessions where you’ll have the opportunity to speak to and learn from her directly.

Once you sign up, you will receive a welcome email with all of the info you need to access the membership site and the private Facebook community.

We will be opening enrollment only during certain times of the year. After we close the doors this time around, we won’t reopen until next year. We encourage you to sign up now for the most delicious holiday season ever!

Yes! If you join the MONTHLY payment option your monthly payments will automatically charge. You can cancel anytime from within your members portal before your next scheduled payment to cancel your membership. You will retain membership access through the end of that billing cycle.

If you chose the ANNUAL membership option there are NO CANCELLATIONS OR REFUNDS.

No, we are unable to offer refunds. Instead, you can cancel your monthly membership at anytime.
